We started with an overview of the project: Overview Presentation
Then Susan led us a through a great Number Talk and discussed different applications and reasons for bringing them into our math programs: Number Talks Presentation
Next we broke into primary/intermediate, middle years and secondary groups to brainstorm ideas surrounding the competency we will be focusing on this year:
“Students are able to communicate their mathematical thinking symbolically, concretely, and pictorially.”
