Day 1: December 9th, 2015
We had a super start to our inquiry project this year!
We started with an overview of the project: Overview Presentation
Then Susan led us a through a great Number Talk and discussed different applications and reasons for bringing them into our math programs: Number Talks Presentation
Next we broke into primary/intermediate, middle years and secondary groups to brainstorm ideas surrounding the competency we will be focusing on this year:
“Students are able to communicate their mathematical thinking symbolically, concretely, and pictorially.”

Finally, we shared out and then turned our attention to our focus based on the competency that will guide each o us in a professional inquiry of practice: Our Process
